A woman on her way home from a show at the Carousel Dinner Theatre on Tuesday evening was hit by a car, driven by another theatre guest, according to Akron Police.

The car accident happened around 10:40pm at 1275 E. Waterloo Road. The woman was walking across the theatre parking lot when she was truck by a car that was backing out of its parking space, police said. The older gentleman of the car told police that his foot slipped off the brake pedal causing the accident.
